I really, really just love Switchfoot. & I love them not just because of their awesome musical prowess & skillz. :3
Someone once said, if you want to know what kind of soul a person has, see what music they listen to.
I am proud to say, i feed my soul with Switchfoot’s music.
It has brought me through the toughest times; reminding me that it’s okay to struggle with your faith, it’s okay to struggle with God, but to make sure that at the end of the day, you come back to Him. Because His love is like a song, running through me, running to me and I will never be able to run from His love.
Switchfoot has made me question the way I live my life everyday, question the way I think and respond to this terribly depraved world and how I can change it and make a difference only by the way I choose to live.
It has caused me to look inward. Not to the way other people respond to me but in the way I am, my thoughts, my hurts, my feelings. To self inspect, remove all pride and give all that I am to God; warts and all.
ahh, just, thank You God. thank You for this incredible band You’ve created. You know just what I need, always.
